Valve Cover Color Empty Valve Cover Color

I am redoing my valve cover. I already stripped it back down and will be welding in a -10AN bung tomorrow. I cant decide on finish. I have thought brushed aluminum with a clear coat to keep it clean. I have also thought about going wrinkle red or back wrinkle black. Whats your thoughts or opinions on which one? Most people have seen my car. Everything is black and brushed finish. Red would stand out but I think it would be out of place.

Here are a few pics of the diff options.

With the brushed I am thinking after I brush it paint the letter black and then clear coat over it. This is the type of finish I am talkin about.

I have to go with red. I love red/black contrast, with the majority of your car being black that red will pop out. Plus, whenever you think of bad ass VTECness you always think red. I painted my y7 VC white and my z6 VC Grabber Green. I like to be a bit different.

Yeah I do to one reason why I am leaning towards the brushed aluminum.

Haha, I see what you did there... Yeah, I see your point now, and the brushed aluminum would be different. I once saw a guy that painted a very convincing wood grain on his VC, can't really get any more different or original than that...

I'm actually thinking about stripping my z6 VC, grinding down all the letters and emblems. And painting it a satan black, and get all the autographs of everybody that helped build and tune the car in gold on the VC the covering it with clear.

I was also thinking about putting my WORP logo down before I cleared over it. May do the WORP logo with out the Honda logo. Here is the logo. I am dropping the Speed & Off Road part.
